From Heartbreak to Hope

He was loved by everyone who met him. Paco wasn’t just a dog — he was my soulmate, my emotional support buddy, my entire world.

But one early morning in the hills of Central Mexico, that world shattered.
Paco was killed by starving feral dogs. I sat for hours soaked in his blood, numb, broken, lost.

But my other rescued dogs needed me. They nudged me, pressed into me, and with each gentle push, they reminded me to rise up. They needed me strong, even when I had nothing left to give.

Out of that raw pain, just weeks later, I heard my true calling:
To build a legacy for Paquito — to create an organization that would help rescues and fund life-saving sterilization clinics across Mexico.

That was the moment The Paco Project™ was born.

Paco's Legacy

Our Mission

Paco’s legacy:

Healing hearts & hooves in Mexico.

We’re on a mission to end the endless cycle of suffering by:

Funding sterilization clinics so thousands of unwanted litters are never born into pain.
Supporting existing rescue groups with food, builds, and emergency care.
Rescuing abused donkeys, horses, and dogs, giving them a place to finally feel safe.
Building Mexico’s first holistic healing sanctuary, where animals and humans heal side by side — through love, connection, and nature.

Starting here in our village, and expanding across Mexico and beyond, we’re rewriting what’s possible for these forgotten souls.

Why This Matters

Every dollar, every product, every retreat booking — it all builds this dream.

  • Because here, $25 isn’t just a donation — it stops the suffering of thousands down the line.

  • Because dogs like Paco shouldn’t die simply for being born.

  • Because donkeys and horses are carrying wounds deeper than skin deserve a soft pasture and a gentle touch.

  • Because people healing from trauma deserve a place where nature, animals, and peace come together.
